Save the Coast !

Ok it's not about drumming but it is about one of my favourite places, Garrarus beach lies on the coast road just outside Tramore,
just like the rest of Ireland, they want to dig it up and change it around and put a golf course, houses etc, in other words ruin a natural resource of great beauty, anyway if you want to see more or even send an objection, check out the site , click below

The proposed development consists of a 142 suite hotel, leisure centre & spa, 51 two-story chalets, 28 three-story residential houses, 18 hole golf course and all associated site works including roads, car parks, street lighting, telecommunications centre and ESB substation.

Hi

My name is John and I run Fundrums, a community drumming organisation in Ireland. I have been drumming for over 20 years, started on pots and pans and I love it!

I mainly work with special needs groups, it is one of the best jobs you could have :) (the picture is from a special olympics event, one of our best drummers, Tomas Kinsella :)

As well as special needs we have drummed with nearly every other kind of group !

I am new to the whole blogging thing and I am working on a new site for Fundrums, the current one needs a serious facelift ! and maybe make it part of it :)

So for now I'll just try work it out!
